We've been as a family 3 or 4 times already, so its paid for itself. Add on the 3-4 times I've taken them while Lovanna got a break, and I'm pretty close to having the zoo memorized.
The twins treat the zoo like a movie theatre - snacks are a necessity! They are particularly fond of the elephants and bonobos. They've learned to imitate a gorilla sound, and to buzz their lips when I say elephants.. So when we get past the overpriced picture takers, I ask them where they want to go.
Unfortunately, the gorillas are in the opposite direction from the giraffes, so you have to pick one. You can usually sneak in the elephants on your way in or out..
